Getting Ready for the Driving Test

  • The Rules of the Road booklet must be reviewed thoroughly;
  • Find yourself a good driving instructor that is ADI Qualified;
  • DonĂ­t stop practicing on how to drive effectively. Not just on the proposed test routes but on all types of road and in all types of traffic situations, including driving at night;
  • Stay positive at all times expecting to pass your test;
  • Before applying for your test, make sure to build up your driving experience and confidence.

Other than meeting their required standards, you must inform the Driver Testing Centre about the following:

  • Are hearing-impaired.
  • Are restricted in your movements or have any disability which could affect your driving;
  • Drive an adapted automobile.

    Driving Lessons

    Make certain you are completely prepared on your scheduled test drive. Have enough time to practice and enhance your driving skills before picking a driving test schedule. The basis for the test dates is based on the order of the applications they have received from the applicants.

    Please do note that cancellations can happen and schedules will be moved to an earlier date, but if you are well prepared and ready to do the test, passing it will not be a problem for you for sure.

    Give yourself plenty of time on the day of your test. Arrive early so you can compose yourself and read over a few questions.

Note: Note: Once you are late, no test will be carried out and no refunds will be given.

The driver tester will check your provisional licence to establish that it:

  • Shows your true info
  • Has a valid date
  • fits to the category of vehicle they are giving
  • You will be asked to read and sign a statement confirming that: Everything about the vehicle insurance coverage is in place.
